Varris Toll is the estranged heir to a very powerful estate. Disaffected with his family’s crooked deeds and seeking to change the world for the better, he joined up with Vynn les Fairchild to further the machinations of the organization she works for. An impressive mage in his own right, Varris defers to Vynn all professional and personal decisions. He is madly enamored with Vynn who seemingly reciprocates his affections.

An accomplished assassin and commanding officer within the Cult of Levith. She and her partner Varris conjured a Gnoll pack that wiped out most of the small farming settlement of Plethur, aiming to cripple food production for the nearby city of Monoth. Neither Vynn nor Varris were expecting more than one or two injured peasants upon their return, and seeing a full party of Monoth’s finest along with a healing priest of Kahl was shocking dismay to Vynn, who had been given explicit instruction to keep these murderous raids secret. Although not outside her area of expertise, assassinating one of the greatest wizards of the age would be a challenge, even for her.
