Six bone spires protrude from his head like a crown, and his huge black bulbous eyes betray a pinprick of black like those of a preying mantis. His tattered cloak betrays mouse skulls that seem merged into the flesh and fur of his back and shoulders.

Neither Vynn nor Varris were expecting more than one or two injured peasants upon their return, and seeing a full party of Monoth’s finest along with a healing priest of Kahl was shocking dismay to Vynn, who had been given explicit instruction to keep these murderous raids secret. Although not outside her area of expertise, assassinating one of the greatest wizards of the age would be a challenge, even for her.
